This is no food! @ Mossel Bay, South Africa
A rocky hyrax was smoking a cigarette which it found on the roadside. For me, this looked very funny from the first beginning, however, after the end of laughter, I found myself start feeling so sad and worried about its living environment.
As human populations are growing, people are expanding roads, settlements, and agriculture—activity that is moving into wildlife’s living spaces. This habitat loss and habitat fragmentation makes it more difficult for hyraxes to find mates, food, and shelters.
