Mangrove swamps are found in tropical and subtropical tidal areas. Areas where mangal occurs include estuaries and marine shorelines. The unique ecosystem found in the intricate mesh of mangrove roots offers a quiet marine region for young organisms. In areas where roots are permanently submerged, the organisms they host include algae, barnacles, corals, sponges, and bryozoans, which all require a hard surface for anchoring while they filter feed.
In this photo, we can see soft coral, sponge, algae, green leaves and the blue sky above, which shows the rich biodiversity of this the beautiful mangrove ecosystem.
從陸地上看，綠油油一片的紅樹林，下方也是生意盎然，共存著許多種海洋生物。這幾株長得像大蘑菇的軟珊瑚讓這裡充滿著生命力。
